Open Inventor 9.0 delivers numerous enhancements and new features, including innovative new volume visualization techniques, major performance improvements, extended shaders management, and a brand new API and plug-in mechanism for IvTune.

To continue to deliver high-quality Open Inventor releases, we are launching once again a Beta–Testing Program which allows all Open Inventor users currently subscribing to VSG maintenance service to try out Open Inventor 9 Beta and provide VSG with their feedback.
